Murray Education Foundation welcomes a wide range of in-kind giving options as a valuable way to support Murray City School District students and educators. In-kind donations can include commodity or household goods, classroom supplies, technology, equipment – anything that enhances learning experiences and environments for students. These non-monetary gifts address immediate needs and ensure resources are directed where they can make the greatest difference, creating enriched educational experiences for students and educators.

  • Most students are excited to begin a new school year. But for some families, the Fall also comes with a mix of embarrassment and fear over the costs getting their kids ready to succeed in the classroom. For this reason, MEF partners with businesses, individuals, and community organizations to gather extra school supplies that can help students begin school with all the tools they need to thrive. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS

  • One sometimes-overlooked aspect of learning is what kids wear to school each day. For some Murray households, there just isn’t extra money for these items. To help out, MEF conducts a campaign to collect new or gently-used clothing, coats, and shoes for students who would otherwise have to go without.   • Sadly, we have a number of Murray families who experience food insecurity issues on a daily basis. School educators see this on a daily basis to various degrees. We also know that many families rely heavily on the free/reduced school lunch and breakfast programs to help supplement the cost of providing food for their children.

    Another important consideration, and often less-thought-of donation opportunity is found in hygiene supplies and kids for students. Many Murray families struggle to make ends meet, even providing very basic/essential items to feel confident and thrive.   • One of the most amazing aspects of the Murray community is its heart. We are small but the compassion for students overflows as evidenced by the giving nature here.
