With the unpredictable weather in Utah, sometimes you just need some go-to activities that keep kids interested during recess time. But the cost can be a barrier and so Horizon Elementary Fifth Grade Teacher Jaymie Cushing needed some funding from Murray Education Foundation (MEF) to overcome that.

Her grant submission awarded her the money she needed to purchase multiple indoor games and activities for her classroom. The kids have loved them and they’ve been a much better alternative than videos or more Chromebook time.
