The Pinnacle of Excellence in Murray

Since 2004, the Murray Education Foundation's Pinnacle Awards for Excellence in Education has been the highest community honor bestowed upon Murray City School District educators, volunteers, and employees. Recipients are chosen among nominations from the entire community regardless of affiliation with Murray City School District (made in December and January each year). Nominations include:

Certified Educators (teachers, counselors, psychologists, social workers)
Classified Employees (secretaries, aides, custodians, IT, etc.)
Administrator* (principal, assistant principal, district directors)
Volunteers

*Every three years we also open nominations for an administrator (principals, district directors)

Those honored are presented at a special gala, where they are featured in videos from the day of their surprise and remarks by colleagues and former students. Most of the event also features the talents of students through enterainment, food preparation and service, and in design and decor.

Attendees at the Gala All Participants: The Pinnacle Gala features gormet appetizers and social hour from 6:00 to 6:30 pm, followed by a special dinner prepared and program honoring each of the recipients. Honorees are given a special commissioned statuette along with a gift basket bursting with amazing gifts. Proceeds from the Gala go to pay for the event, but most go back to our Classroom Grant program – giving teachers the tools they need to provide students with experiences and materials otherwise not possible.

This sponsorship includes: (1) Up to four attendees, (2) maximum print and digital recognition, (3) multiple branded gift basket contributions, (4) opportunity to introduce a recipient, (5) premium seating, (6) social media spotlight before the event, and (7) three advertisements in Murray Matters Newsletter.
$1,250 – Platinum: Community Champion Sponsorship: Our champion sponsors are also invaluable leaders, making a difference for Murray and others across Utah. Their visibility is undeniable as they show up each year to ensure critical programs and learning opportunities are supported. This sponsorship includes: (1) Up to four attendees, (2) high-level print and digital recognition, (3) up to two branded gift basket contributions, (4) grouped social media spotlight, and (5) two advertisements in Murray Matters Newsletter.
$600 – Gold: Strategic Advocate Sponsorship: Our strategic advocates not only contribute, but rally others to join in. Their injection of support helps us achieve community momentum and is a critical component of student and teacher advocacy. This sponsorship includes: (1) Up to four attendees, (2) elevated print and digital recognition, (3) up to one branded gift basket contribution, and (4) one advertisement in Murray Matters Newsletter.

FREE – In-Kind Gift Basket Sponsor: Our foundation-level sponsors provide the direct, essential support that keeps our mission moving. By taking a visible stand on the course, they ensure MEF’s support and mission are robust. This sponsorship includes: (1) up to one branded gift basket contribution per honoree.
